Smith's Landscaping, Inc. combines a unique blend of landscape architects and construction managers to provide the expertise in all facets of the landscape industry. Recognized as an award winning landscape contractor by the Illinois Landscape Contractors Association (ILCA), the company mission is to provide professional designs, and quality workmanship and material to the people we serve. Smith's has grown consistently over the past 17 years and recently moved from a 5500 square foot facility on 29000 square feet of land to their new facility, a 1600 square foot building on 150,000 square feet along the Chicago River. The facility is unique in the Chicago market in that the grounds model the kinds of design and installation which Smith's is known for. Complete with an environmentally friendly parking lot and an 7,000 square foot display garden, it will act as a base from which the Smith's Landscape team will serve new markets as well as expand service in their current markets.

History

Smith's Landscaping was founded in 1975. The company is a full service landscape contractor serving the Chicago metropolitan area. The company began as a residential maintenance, design and installation firm and has expanded to include commercial design, installation and maintenance. Recent developments include specializations in wetlands and native habitats, with a small retail garden center opening in the spring of 2005.
