Best antiquing - Chicago Antique Market
To market, to market
There's hours of fun to be had at the Chicago Antique Market, held on the last Sunday of each month from May through October on the 1300 block of West Randolph Street, and inside Plumber's Hall.
The market, which hosts more than 60 dealers on a regular basis, features a broad array of items, from costume jewlery to vintage advertising posters, juke boxes, fine furniture, books, architectural artifacts and musical instruments.
There's Tibetan treasures from Bucktown's Wow and Zen, which specializes in Asian country antiques, funky vintage T-shirts from The Vintage Gypsy and French and Swedish-style antiques, lighting and linens from Alexander Antiques.
Admission is $8 for adults and free for children under 12. Parking is on local streets and inside a lot at Plumber's Hall.
